ACEC - WAQTC Sessions Cancelled through April 15, 2020 due to Idaho Stay-at-Home Order
Good evening. Based on Governor Little’s Extreme Emergency Declaration and ‘Stay-at-Home’ Order issued on March 25, 2020, all ACEC - WAQTC Qualifications have been cancelled through April 15, 2020, the current effective date of the order. This includes the following qualification sessions: April 3, 2020 - EBTT & DTT @ ITD District 3 April 3, 2020 - EBTT & DTT @ ITD District 4 April 3, 2020 - AgTT & AsTT/AsTT II @ ITD District 5 April 10, 2020 - EBTT & DTT @ ITD District 3 April 10, 2020 - EBTT & DTT @ ITD District 5 Currently, qualification sessions scheduled for April 17th at ITD Districts 1 (Coeur d’Alene) and 4 (Shoshone) and April 24th at ITD Districts 1 (Coeur d’Alene), 3 (Boise) and 5 (Pocatello) are unaffected. However, additional cancellations may be necessary if the stay-at-home order is extended. We are working with ITD and program staff to determine how best to make up for these cancellations, once the situation with the Coronavirus has improved and the order has been removed. We anticipate the following: • Extensions of ITD WAQTC/IQP certifications will be granted to allow continued testing. Expiring qualifications will be extended until June 30, 2020. • ACEC will resume our normal qualification schedule upon removal of the ‘stay at home’ order, currently set to expire on April 15, 2020. • ACEC will work with current reservation holders and first-time qualification seekers to prioritize qualification session availability for those seeking to obtain a certification for the first time. • ACEC will work with ITD and program staff to establish additional qualification sessions for those whose sessions were cancelled due to the COVID-19 Emergency. Those impacted by these cancellations may request a full refund of their registration fees, or they may wait until make-up sessions have been scheduled and apply their fees for registration to those sessions. Our cancellation and change policy will NOT apply to any sessions impacted by this situation. For those whose certifications may be expiring soon and who are concerned with not being able to sit for a qualification to renew their current certification before it expires, they may contact Amanda Regnier (amanda.regnier@itd.idaho.gov or 208.969.1028 - cell), ITD’s Training & Development Program Supervisor. Thank you. Paul E. Wasser, PE ACEC of Idaho - WAQTC Coordinator 208-830-4026
